School Crossing - Student Safety
The School Crossing lady on 11th Street has mentioned that on occasions children walking to and from school have crossed over the busy 11th Street away from the school crossing. A reminder to all families and students that for the safety of everyone it is very important that students cross 11th St at the School Crossing which is always supervised at the beginning and end of each day.
Energy Drinks
There has been a little bit of media coverage lately of a new energy drink by the name of Prime. This drink has serious health risks for students. There have been some discussions at school amongst students regarding this popular, new drink. From a school perspective, students should not be bringing an energy drink like Prime to school or any other form of energy drink. These are not appropriate for the school environment and are harmful for children under the age of 15. Please refer to this article for more information.
School Assembly
Our first Assembly for Term Two will be held on Friday, 28th April at 2.30pm in the Stadium. All are welcome.

A big thank you to those parents who were able to complete this survey. Your time and effort is much appreciated.
Project Compassion
Thank you to families for contributing to this year’s Project Compassion. Please return boxes to the school office in Week 1 of Term 2 if you haven’t done so already.
Happy Easter everyone!
